કેમ છો દોસ્તો?

આશા છે મજામાં જ હશો.

થોડાક દિવસથી બસ વિચારી જ રહ્યો હતો કે શું લખું. લખવા માટે તો ઘણું બધું હોય છે પણ આ તો શરૂઆત કરવાની. એટલે થોડી રાહ જોઈ યોગ્ય સમયની. બસ અને આવી ગ્યો એ સમય. મારા ફેસબુકના મેઈલ બોક્ષ ઉપર લાલ ટીલી દેખાણી અને ખુશ. આમેય જ્યાં સુધી સામા પક્ષનું નામ તો જાહેર કરવાનુંજ નથી એટલે વિષય જોઈ પણ હાશ થઈ.

તમને થતું હશે કે આ શું બબડાટ માંડ્યો છે “શાશ્વતે” પણ દોસ્તો જ્યારે વાત જીવનની હોય, વાત જ્યારે કારકિર્દીની હોય, વાત જ્યારે અભ્યાસની હોય ત્યારે શાશ્વતની હાલત ગુલાલ જેવી લાલ થઈ જાય છે. ઉપરના ચીત્રની જેમ દરેક વ્યક્તિ આ બધાની પાછળ દોડતો જ રહે છે એના જીવનની કુમાર, કિશોર, યુવાન, આધેડ, પ્રૌઢ અનેવૃધ્ધ અવસ્થા દરમ્યાન.

ચાલો, વિષય પર આવીએ.

વડોદરાના એક મિત્રએ – કદાચ એ વિદ્યાર્થી છે – બહુ સીધો સાદો સવાલ પુછી લીધો.

“શું તમે મને ઈન્ડીઆની બેસ્ટ {ટોપ ટેન} માસ કોમ્યુનીકેશનની કોલેજનું લીસ્ટ આપી શકો?”

સામાન્ય રીતે દરેક મુંઝવતા સવાલોના જવાબો માટે ઈંટરનેટ વાપરતા મોટાભાગના લોકોને આદત પડી ગઈ છે અમુકજ વેબસાઈટો પર જઈને શોધવાની. અને એમાંય વીકીપેડીયા જેવી વેબસાઈટો ના તો એવા ગુલામ બન્યા છે કે પોતાના ગામને સર્ચ કરે અને ત્યાં વાંચે કે “વસ્તીઃ અભણ અને નિરક્ષર” અને બોલી પડે “વાહ…! જોને, કેટલું સાચુ લખ્યું છે બોસ…!!! સાલ્લું માની ગ્યા બોસ આ વીકીપેડીયાવાળાને…” પણ ભડનો દીકરો એ જાતે નો વિચારે કે જો એ અભણ અને નિરક્ષર વસ્તીમાંથી આવતો હોત તો વીકીપેડીયા વાંચતે કઈ રીતે?? પેલો થપ્પડ મારતો જાય છે ને આ આંયે એના હાથની સુંવાળપ ઘસે છે.

વિષય અજબ છે પણ લખવાનો વિચાર નથી, કારણ કે એના વિશે પહેલાંજ ખુબજ સામાન્ય ગુજરાતી ભાષામાં લેખ આવી ચુક્યો છે. વળી વળીને એજ શબ્દોને ચોળી ચોળી નવા વાઘા પહેરાવવા એના કરતાં એજ કમખામાં શોભવા દેવા વધુ સારાં. {થોડા ફેરફાર કરવાજ પડ્યા છે, મુળ શબ્દો એમજ છે.}

જે તરૂણો એવી ઊંચી ટકાવારી ૧૦મીમાં કે ૧૨મીમાં નથી લાવ્યા એમના માટે એક કોર્સ ‘માસ કોમ્યુનિકેશન’નો છે.
